Conversion Experience

I was born to Christian parents in 1970 in Kabankalan Negros Occidental, Philippines. My wife and I have two sons. While listening to a Sunday school lesson about the Philippian jailor, I was saved at the age of twelve and was baptized at Iloilo Baptist Church.

Calling and Preparation

I surrendered my life to full-time Christian service during summer youth camp, when I was fifteen. However, other opportunities turned my head for awhile, and I forgot about my commitment to the Lord. After graduating high school, I had a conversation with a Bible student from Iloilo Baptist College. After discussing my camp experience with him, I decided to enroll at the college in 1989.

The Lord put me in many different ministries while attending college. Teaching children, home Bible studies, Jeepney ministry, prison ministry and soulwinning were good training and prepared me for my future in the ministry. I graduated college in 1994.

The Field  

I started First Baptist Bible Church in Ilog Negros Occidental, Phillipines. The Lord has blessed with many people getting saved and baptized. We average about fifty faithful people at our services.

Catholicism is the predominant religion. Although there is a Catholic chapel, it is only used once each year for their religious fiesta.

Future Goals  

• Planting more churches
• Training more leaders
• Sending more students to Bible college
• Street-preaching ministry
